Osteopathy for children and teenagers can be helpful in supporting growth and development.

Stephen, Simon and Yan Kei have many years of experience in paediatric osteopathy. Stephen and Simon both have formal academic qualifications in paediatric and obstetric osteopathy from the OCC.

Stephen has one of the first two year post graduate diplomas awarded, thirty years of practice experience and has fulfilled lecturer roles in this country and abroad; he has also contributed to a German paediatric osteopathy publication, published by Elsevier (a world leading provider of technical and medical information).

Simon has a Masters (MSc) degree in Paediatric Osteopathy and currently teaches at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.

Yan-Kei is qualified and experienced in the treatment of mothers, babies, children and young people.

We respect the right of informed choice in children and young people and will always work sensitively with parents and their children to advise, inform and negotiate any treatment.

I have had several treatments with Steve over the years for neck pain, back pain and under active thyroid. Steve has natural healing hands as well as a bank of experience and knowledge, which enhance his effectiveness. I thought the treatment for pain in my knee was excellent. I felt I was being considered as an individual as Stephen listened to everything I said and gave a treatment appropriate to my needs. His approach was non-invasive. I began to notice an improvement in my knee after a couple of days and the pain has not recurred. To me, it felt as if each treatment enabled my body to correct itself and rebalance.

Our 10 week old baby was so tetchy and uncomfortable. He was crying all the time and writhing about seemingly with ongoing pain due to his bubbling tummy. Stephen Beaver held him gently and I don't know what he did, but after a few treatments there are no more issues, and he is a settled happy chap. Having suffered from a shoulder injury since last September and following unsuccessful physio, I decided to try SW19 Osteopath and Yan-Kei has been amazing. Not only has my mobility greatly improved as has my posture and knee pain, I am no longer in pain.
