Osteopathy for children and teenagers can be helpful in supporting growth and development.

Stephen, Simon and Yan Kei have many years of experience in paediatric osteopathy. Stephen and Simon both have formal academic qualifications in paediatric and obstetric osteopathy from the OCC.

Stephen has one of the first two year post graduate diplomas awarded, thirty years of practice experience and has fulfilled lecturer roles in this country and abroad; he has also contributed to a German paediatric osteopathy publication, published by Elsevier (a world leading provider of technical and medical information).

Simon has a Masters (MSc) degree in Paediatric Osteopathy and currently teaches at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.

Yan-Kei is qualified and experienced in the treatment of mothers, babies, children and young people.

We respect the right of informed choice in children and young people and will always work sensitively with parents and their children to advise, inform and negotiate any treatment.

Stephen; I feel so much better after the treatment. It is quite a remarkable improvement. I have regained almost 100% movement in my thoracic spine and my lower back is gradually loosening up. I can now feel and use my stomach muscles again. I have gone from spending two very bad nights as I could not get comfortable in any position and experiencing a succession of very painful and exhausting spasms to being able to sleep on my back and my side. My breathing is also deeper. Our 10 week old baby was so tetchy and uncomfortable. He was crying all the time and writhing about seemingly with ongoing pain due to his bubbling tummy. Stephen Beaver held him gently and I don't know what he did, but after a few treatments there are no more issues, and he is a settled happy chap. I saw Yan-Kei Man following a musculoskeletal injury, which she helped me treat. Impressed with Yan-Kei's professionalism and attentiveness, I have since introduced my young kids (3 and 5 years old) to osteopathy. In hindsight, a wise decision given that a scooter accident had left my 5 year old with a slight postural dysfunction. I thoroughly recommend Yan-Kei for her specialisation and impeccable manners.

I thought the treatment for pain in my knee was excellent. I felt I was being considered as an individual as Stephen listened to everything I said and gave a treatment appropriate to my needs. His approach was non-invasive. I began to notice an improvement in my knee after a couple of days and the pain has not recurred. To me, it felt as if each treatment enabled my body to correct itself and rebalance.
