Yan-Kei graduated from the European School of Osteopath (Maidstone, UK) and obtained a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. Through the maternity and children’s osteopathic clinic there, she acquired a high level of expertise across various treatment methods that provide her with osteopathic approaches to treating the musculoskeletal system in people of all ages.
Having practiced in Sydney since 2014, Yan-Kei has recently returned to London. Throughout the years of practicing in Australia, Yan-Kei continuously developed her skill sets by attending post graduate courses and conferences in both Australia and Europe including ones hosted by the Osteopathic Centre for Children (London).
Yan-Kei has a keen interest in how the organ and cranial systems affect the musculoskeletal system. She developed special interest in treating patients with ligamentous, fascial, visceral and cranial osteopathic approaches. This has been enabled by the courses she attended from the Barral Institute and Biodynamic Osteopathic studies which sharpen her skills as an osteopath.
Yan-Kei's experience in working with children since 2007 in Hong Kong and India as a teacher and teaching assistant helped develop her keen interest in children’s developmental health. Yan Kei maintains a major focus on maternal and child health, undertaking several advanced courses to keep her treatment at the forefront as an osteopath. She enjoys treating babies, children and maternity patients.
