Osteopathy patients invited to share stories

Nine out of ten patients think it is important to give feedback to an osteopath about their experience of osteopathic treatment. If you would find it difficult to do that directly or you feel that your story would be of interest to all osteopaths you can give feedback anonymously to the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) through a dedicated website.

All patients who use osteopathic services are encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences — good or bad on the Patient Reported Experiences of Osteopathic Services (PREOS) website at http://www.ncorpreos.org.uk. People making a report are asked to fill out a short online survey and no login is required.

I've been visiting the practice since February and have been seen by Yan-Kei. I'm just writing to leave a brief review of the practice and of her. The treatment I have received from Yan-Kei has benefited me greatly and I am improved in all aspects of life. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who feels any sense of discomfort and seeks to change their life for the better. Look forward to my next visit

I was very pleased to have assistance from Holly Jordan when I had a very painful lower back recently. I found her diagnosis very reassuring; and the treatment recommended helpful. It was good that plenty of time - over an hour - was allowed for my first initial appointment, as it was good to feel I wasn't rushed and was listened to. Having suffered from a shoulder injury since last September and following unsuccessful physio, I decided to try SW19 Osteopath and Yan-Kei has been amazing. Not only has my mobility greatly improved as has my posture and knee pain, I am no longer in pain. Our 10 week old baby was so tetchy and uncomfortable. He was crying all the time and writhing about seemingly with ongoing pain due to his bubbling tummy. Stephen Beaver held him gently and I don't know what he did, but after a few treatments there are no more issues, and he is a settled happy chap. Stephen also noticed the baby's head was tuning always to one side, and this has also been resolved with treatment. Great result. Thanks so much
