Osteopathy patients invited to share stories

Nine out of ten patients think it is important to give feedback to an osteopath about their experience of osteopathic treatment. If you would find it difficult to do that directly or you feel that your story would be of interest to all osteopaths you can give feedback anonymously to the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) through a dedicated website.

All patients who use osteopathic services are encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences — good or bad on the Patient Reported Experiences of Osteopathic Services (PREOS) website at http://www.ncorpreos.org.uk. People making a report are asked to fill out a short online survey and no login is required.

I damaged my knee in a motorcycle accident and have had trouble with it ever since. I work in the building trade and have to keep fit and active. Stephen has managed my knee and other associated problems, and without his skill I would not have been able to continue with my job. He has even enabled me to go skiing, although this was against his better judgment! If you are looking for an experienced osteopath, then you need look no further; his skill is unrivalled.

Having suffered from a shoulder injury since last September and following unsuccessful physio, I decided to try SW19 Osteopath and Yan-Kei has been amazing. Not only has my mobility greatly improved as has my posture and knee pain, I am no longer in pain. Amazing at how effective this has been for me in such a short period of time, and I now am able to return back to sports. Yan-Kei explains what she is doing and definitely is invested in my well-being and although I am so much better, I will make this as part of my self care and ensure that I visit her every 5 – 6 weeks to re-balance myself. I am from Greece. I have a severe musculoskeletal problem affecting my upper and lower back. In my country, I have physical therapy sessions weekly for the past 30 years.
