Holistic Therapist

Lara Last is a Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, and an Emmett Technique Practitioner with a wide variety of therapeutic training and skills which means that she is able to respond holistically to the needs of individual.

As a bespoke therapist she has worked within corporate, media and NHS environments and has worked with all age groups and those living with cancer.

She qualified in 2001 with ITEC (International Examination Council), and is a full member of CThA (Complementary Therapy Association). She attends seminars and workshops each year in order to maintain professional development and ensure the highest of standards.

Lara originally trained as a Graphic Designer and experienced a great amount of stress symptoms as a result. Having been through this experience she now specialises in addressing symptoms particularly related to workplace stress, tailoring treatments to the individual patient.

I've been visiting the practice since February and have been seen by Yan-Kei. I'm just writing to leave a brief review of the practice and of her. The treatment I have received from Yan-Kei has benefited me greatly and I am improved in all aspects of life. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who feels any sense of discomfort and seeks to change their life for the better. Look forward to my next visit

I saw Yan-Kei Man following a musculoskeletal injury, which she helped me treat. I thought the treatment for pain in my knee was excellent. I felt I was being considered as an individual as Stephen listened to everything I said and gave a treatment appropriate to my needs. His approach was non-invasive. I began to notice an improvement in my knee after a couple of days and the pain has not recurred. To me, it felt as if each treatment enabled my body to correct itself and rebalance.

Our 10 week old baby was so tetchy and uncomfortable. He was crying all the time and writhing about seemingly with ongoing pain due to his bubbling tummy. Stephen Beaver held him gently and I don't know what he did, but after a few treatments there are no more issues, and he is a settled happy chap. Following a breech caesarean birth, Max developed a tendency to turn his head to one side, and he developed a visibly flattened side of head.
